I received my B.S. undergraduate degrees in Math and in Accounting in 1975 from Cumberland College, now known as the University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg KY. I received my legal education at the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, a part of the Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights KY.
I have focused more recently in the areas of OVI/traffic law, family law, bankruptcy, probate and real estate law, but have significant experience in collection and subrogation law, as well as several other areas. I was licensed to practice law in 1979 in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and then, in 1980, was licensed in the State of Ohio. I am licensed to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio and the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. My practice covers Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, primarily Hamilton, Butler Warren, Clermont, Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.
I have been married since 1980 to an artist/therapist whose counseling skills greatly enhance my ability to understand the more trying family cases I encounter in my practice. I have three adult daughters who are committed to serving the public. I have been an active member of the College Hill Presbyterian Church since 1979. My activities include gardening, watching and participating in sports and being a part of the Big Blue Nation.
