Amanda Hood is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University majoring in Political Science and French. In 2018, Amanda graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While in law school she interned in the domestic violence division at both, Memphis Area Legal Services, and the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.
Upon obtaining her J.D, Amanda moved to Texas where she worked as a paralegal for the U.S Attorney’s Office. Upon obtaining her Bar License in Texas she became an Assistant District Attorney in Comal County, Texas. After a few years, Amanda moved back home to Cincinnati to be closer to family.
Prior to joining Godbey Law, Amanda spent some time as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Newport, Kentucky, and LexisNexis. At Godbey Law, Amanda’s primary practice areas are Family Law, as well as Criminal and Traffic Defense cases.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her dog, Zeke, traveling, hiking, and just being with friends and family.
